The caring for, and climbing of trees is what I do. It is my day job, my profession and career. It is my passion. In the tree care business, you ARE, in a large sense, your tools. Treecare does not happen without tools and gear, and I place a high importance upon the gear. Since I take on a lot of work thaat I can do solo, the success of my business is entirely dependant upon the tools I use. That being said, here is my personal mission:

Treeguy.info revolves around two central themes:

Safety because you need to go home, unharmed and intact every single night. Tree Climbing can be dangerous, and the tools that allow you safe ascents, climbs, safe rigging, safe limbwalking and safe descents. Safe cutting and safe thinking. Safe being. It all starts with safety. The tree is being cared for, and you are being safe. We can now move on to #2.
Recycling, because once you have pruned and dead-wooded the tree, or taken it down. The issue of 'waste' must be addressed. Various ways to deal with it, I choose to recycle.

I recycle `100%` of every single tree part of every tree that comes down in my tree care business. This has been my mission for 12 years and I can offer excellent information, ideas and links in this arena. Emphasis is on arranging to do this for free.
